Founded in December 2007 by L Cardoza from Dyer Indiana.

MISSION STATEMENT

RESCUE: The rescue of neglected, injured, abandoned or lost animals.
These animals are those found wandering the streets or those surrendered by their
owner(s) who are no longer able to care for them. This includes all domestic, feral or
orphaned wild animals in our local communities.

The ARSI operates 365 days of the year. However, we are not a shelter. Therefore,
we are dedicated to the rescue,foster,adoption and placement of the animals with
the owners,no kill shelters or no kill animal control in the local community.
We are dedicated to placing unwanted, displaced or abandoned domestic animal(s)
into permanent homes. All dog(s) cat(s) entering the ARSI are either temporarily
placed in a foster home or must remain with their owners until a suitable home can
be found.
The Animal Rescue Squad, INC . Will transfer any found animal to an appropriate
facility to be scanned for an identifying microchip.

The Animal Rescue Squad, Inc (ARS) implements a Trap, Neuter and Return
methodology   in our local communities according with the law's and ordinances of
every City. The ARS will provide the means to trap feral cats transport them to
participating veterinarians for neutering and then return them to their feral colony.
In addition a major part of the (TNR) program will provide portable shelters for the
feral colony,to the participating community volunteers who agree to follow the ARS &
Alley Cat Allies TNR methodology guidelines.   To shelter the colony in the winter
months or during inclement weather.
The rescued (feral kitten's) may be fostered and adopted by qualified persons
Neutering and vaccinations, are at the expense of the ARS.
